En 2012, pour sa 24ème édition, le Festival de Dour marquera plus que jamais son indépendance, proposera toujours autant de styles musicaux différents et renforcera ses spécificités uniques, tout en continuant à garder un site convivial et un prix d’entrée le plus bas d’Europe parmi les festivals de même catégorie.
La nouvelle scène electro, dubstep et drum’n’bass appelée De Balzaal sera agrandie et prendra place sur une nouvelle partie du terrain, tandis que les autres scènes (The Last Arena, Cannibal Stage, ClubCircuit Marquee, Magic Soundsystem, Dance Hall, La Petite Maison dans la Prairie) continueront d’accueillir le meilleur du rock, pop, indie, hardcore, metal, reggae, dub, techno, electro, house, disco, dance, hip-hop, rap, … durant les 4 jours du festival.
